SEGA’s Toshihiro Nagoshi joined Nintendo’s own Satoru Iwata to begin today’s Nintendo Direct presentation geared toward Japan.
He announced that the third-party publisher would deliver HD ports of both Yakuza and its sequel to Wii U, expanded through making unique use of the Wii U GamePad.
What has so far been revealed were maps and support for Off-TV Play, with more details regarding the Wii U specific features to be confirmed in future.
As yet only confirmed for a Japan release, it’ll launch for Wii U on August 8th.
