SEGA AGES Brings Retro Classics To Nintendo Switch

Sonic The Hedgehog Mega Drive

SEGA has announced that SEGA AGES will release on Nintendo Switch, news that was shared at SEGA FES 2018 in Akihabara, Japan.

The retro collection, which will see Japanese developer M2 behind the emulated ports, will have more than 15 games that the company will start to release on the portable home console in summer.

SEGA has, so far, only chosen to announce three games that will come to the collection, which are Phantasy Star, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Thunder Force IV.

The news will hopefully alleviate some disappointment around the news that SEGA Mega Drive Classics is not releasing on Nintendo Switch. The collection, which SEGA has called “the largest collection of retro classics on console,” will include more than 50 games and release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
