Bandai Namco Entertainment have announced Project X Zone 2: Brave New World, shortly after e-duesse unwittingly leaked the company’s software line-up shown at their Level Up event in Milan last week.

The Italian website soon righted their mistake, although not before NeoGAF snapped the evidence prior to removal. The sequel will remain as a Nintendo 3DS exclusive, remaining an excuse to bring together Bandai Namco, Capcom and SEGA’s stable of characters into a crossover RPG.

Brave New World’s teaser trailer reveals early characters joining the roster from as Resident Evil: Revelations, Resident Evil 6, Devil May Cry, Mega Man X, Strider, Yakuza, Virtua Fighter, Sakura Wars, Shinobi, Soul Calibur V, Tales of Vesperia, Tekken, and .hack//, with more announcements to come.

“Working hand-in-hand with renowned publishers such as SEGA and Capcom is a blessing,” comments Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe’s vice president of IP strategy, marketing and PR, Herve Hoerdt. “Exchanging ideas and working towards making fans happy is the ultimate goal behind this cross-over. With dozens of famous characters and licenses, unique humour traits and highly tactical gameplay; Project X Zone 2 presents itself as a serious contender to be a critically appreciated Tactical RPG!”

Project X Zone 2: Brave New World will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS worldwide in Autumn 2015.
