Said to be as black as the night sky, in Pokémon Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon Let’s Go, Eevee! you can use the peculiar Moon Stone to make certain species of Pokémon evolve.

While in Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition, Moon Stones could be found on Route 2 and in Mt. Moon and the Rocket Hideout, there’s only one place that you will need to search in Pokémon Let’s Go. Mt. Moon.

With players encouraged to catch as many Pokémon as possible to gain experience and build a Catch Combo to help hunt down Shiny Pokémon, Game Freak has chosen to make the Moon Stone in Mt. Moon respawn daily – meaning that it is somewhere that you can return to in order to stock up on them.

In the Kanto region, there are only four Pokémon that will require you to use a Moon Stone to evolve. The evolutionary stone will see Nidorina evolve into Nidoqueen, Nidorino into Nidoking, Clefairy into Clefable and Jigglypuff into Wigglytuff.
