Niantic has revealed how Pokémon GO will join in the Pokémon Day celebrations, with an event that will run for two days.
That event will be live from 1pm PST on Tuesday 26th February to 1pm PST on Thursday 28th February, and, during that time, you will more frequently encounter Pokémon that were first discovered in the Kanto region.
You can also challenge such pocket monsters in Raids, and, in the wild, you will have the chance to encounter Shiny Pidgey and Shiny Rattata.
And for those that complete Field Research, you will be rewarded with the chance to encounter Pikachu or Eevee wearing flower crowns as a special appearance.
