Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version have achieved combined sales of more than 4 million units across North America, the latest NPD Group figures confirm.
Each have been available at retail for just over a year, having launched across North America on March 6th 2011.
Last month saw The Pokémon Company International and Game Freak announce that they were to release Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 this year, confirming a North American and European launch for Autumn.
Both a brief teaser trailer and official website have been shared for the upcoming titles.
