Koei Tecmo Games will release Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence and Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII on Nintendo Switch, as well as working on Fire Emblem Warriors in partnership with Nintendo.

The publisher has only confirmed that the strategy games will see release in Japan but each has previously received a western localisation, as seen with their PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PC versions.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence will see players take on the role of the legendary Warring States Daimyō (Warlords) such as Nobunaga Oda and Shingen Takeda, as they work their way towards unification. To do so, you must make best use of domestic affairs, diplomacy and battles against your fierce Warlord neighbours.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII on the other hands was aimed to be “the ultimate depiction of the Three Kingdom,” with such concept producing an experience that looks to immerse the player in the historically turbulent world of the Three Kingdoms.

That sees players interact with playable heroic characters when embroiled in battle or resting at camp, fight for your survival in majestic battle scenes and secure victory to expand your territory across the great land of China.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence is sat with an 80 Metascore on Metacritic, while Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIII has a 67 Metascore.

Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence will release on Nintendo Switch in Japan on March 3rd, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms will also be released in March.
