The Nintendo Switch has been put through an extreme durability test and has survived to tell the tale.

UnlockRiver used a drone to lift Nintendo’s portable console 1000 feet into the air, and then let it tumble back down to Earth.

While the Nintendo Switch console and right Joy-Con survived the impact, the angle that hit the ground at saw the left Joy-Con, unsurprisingly, break into pieces.

Compared to other electronics that the YouTube channel has dropped, Nintendo Switch was awarded a 9 out of 10 extreme durability score. The iPhone 7, for comparison, was awarded 4 out of 10 after the mobile’s screen was smashed on impact.
