This week’s Nintendo Direct was a busy one, a 45-minute presentation that came packed with news on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS games releasing in the coming months and beyond.

That saw Nintendo spotlight four games – Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Project Octopath Traveler, and Super Mario Odyssey – while Nintendo Direct Headlines presented a quick-fire news blast about everything inbetween.

Whether that be new Splatoon 2 content, new Fire Emblem Warriors characters, or a release date for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, there were also plenty of surprises such as Bethesda releasing DOOM and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus on the portable home console, Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition, and more party antics in Mario Party: The Top 100 on Nintendo 3DS.
