After being downloaded more than 500 million times worldwide, over 65 million people continue to play Pokémon GO each month.

Now, LEVEL-5 has looked to tap into that success with plans to release a location-based game based on Yo-kai Watch later in the year.

That news was shared at a press event in Spain, where the Japanese developer had outlined their intention to launch Yo-kai Watch Wibble Wobble, Medal Wars (Title TBC) and a third game that used geolocation data and community interaction on mobile in Europe. It is expected that we will learn more at E3 2017.

“Recently I went to an exclusive event for press in Spain. Viz Media, Nintendo, Hasbro and other companies shared some interesting exclusives and I had the opportunity to make some interviews,” Reddit user ailes_grises writes.

“One of the announcements was this Pokémon GO-esque app developed by Level-5. The title of this app is TBD and it may be available in October. Viz Media told me that LEVEL-5 will probably announce this Game at the E3.”
