DotEmu has announced that Windjammers will release on Nintendo Switch, a fast-paced head-to-head arcade game where two players are challenged to throw discs at their opponent’s goal zone to score points.
First released on the NEOGEO arcade system, the game blends sports and fighting games, requiring that players sharpen their throwing and sliding skills so that they can defeat your rivals. 23 years later, it now comes to Nintendo’s portable home console.
With six playable characters that have different dexterity, techniques and throwing speeds, there are five game modes to compete in whether that be Arcade, Infinite, Local Versus, Online Quick Match or Ranked Match – as well as two unlockable mini-games in Dog Distance and Bowling.
Windjammers will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in 2018.
