It has been some months since Dusk Form Lycanroc was revealed for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, and, now that the Nintendo 3DS exclusives are available worldwide, you may be wondering how to get your hands on one.
First, you will need to get the Rockruff that is being distributed as a special Mystery Gift as an early purchase bonus for the games. This special Puppy Pokémon can will be available until Wednesday 10th January 2018, and can evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc.
In Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Sun the Rockruff will know the move Fire Fang while in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon it will know Thunder Fang.
How To Get Rockruff In Pokémon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon
1. Open your Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon game.
2. Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
3. Select Receive Gift.
4. Select Get via Internet, then Yes to connect to the internet.
5. Watch as you receive your Pokémon.
6. Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to receive your Pokémon.
7. Be sure to save your game.
How To Evolve Rockruff Into Dusk Form Lycanroc
To evolve Rockruff into Dusk Form Lycanroc, you first need to train the Pokémon in battles until it reaches Level 25 or above, and, if it levels up between 5 – 5.59pm in-game, it will evolve into Dusk Form Lycanroc. Only special Rockruff can evolve this way, so you will be wasting your time if you try to do it with other Rockruff in the game.
Remember To Use Lycanroc’s Exclusive Z-Move Splintered Stormshards
Lycanroc has access to an exclusive Z-Move called Splintered Stormshards, a Rock-type Z-Move that causes damage and can remove effects from the terrain – which is effective against the guardian deity Tapu Koko and the other tapu. This can be used by a Lycanroc that knows the move Stone Edge and is holding the special Z-Crystal Lycanium Z.

Hey i tried to Evolve my rockruff into a lycanroc dusk form with the special rockruff but it didn’t work does the level have to be exactly level 25 or can it evolve after my dad says that i had to evolve it during the event is it true?
