The Good Smile Company has revealed plans to release a 1/7th scale Link figure, that takes inspiration from the character’s appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
The Hero of the Sky will stand at approximately 200mm (7.9 inches) in height, and the hobby product manufacturer has looked to recreate the stance that Link took in the Wii exclusive’s key visual.
That has resulted in some intricate sculpting by Yuuki Ishiyama, after which Decomas Lab’s Hiroyuki Hirose stepped in to do careful painting – even going as far to add shadows and textures in order to bring the figure to life.
The 1/7th scale PVC product will come with a stand included, and will see release in November 2016 as part of their Wonderful Hobby Selection priced at 14,630 yen (£90) before tax.
