Nintendo has announced when Fitness Boxing will release on Nintendo Switch, as well as more on how you can learn boxing moves as you participate in boxing-based workouts.

With the Joy-Con in each hand, you will punch, weave and squat to get your whole body moving, to tracks such as Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe.”

Training daily will range from 10-40 minutes with both low and high-intensity options, and, after you choose your trainer, you can customise their looks with unlockable trainer outfits.

Fitness Boxing will also estimate the calories that you have burned based on your approximate body mass index (BMI), and, as you continue to work out, you will unlock new songs and more challenging training circuits.

And, for those wanting to team up with friends or family, a second player can join you or face off against one another in a virtual boxing ring with each player using one Joy-Con.

Fitness Boxing will release exclusively at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Europe on December 21st, and in North America on January 4th.
