It appears that Fortnite will soon see release on Nintendo Switch, after a data miner has discovered update data and the icon for the co-op sandbox survival game on the Nintendo eShop.

Epic Games had shown an interest in porting their globally popular game to the portable home console, with rumours soon swirling that it was to be revealed at E3 2018.

That became even more likely last week when materials that outlined plans for the demo stations at Nintendo’s E3 2018 booth were reportedly leaked, rumblings that were soon backed up when Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee (GRAC) published a rating for the game on Nintendo Switch.

This latest discovery makes it seem all the more likely that Nintendo and Epic Games could plan to release Fortnite on Nintendo Switch after the Nintendo Direct: E3 2018 presentation, which will broadcast at 5pm BST (6pm CEST) on Tuesday 12th June.
