Nintendo has revealed that Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses is the fifth Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC fighter.

The renowned mercenary and professor is ready to teach players a lesson in battle and becomes the 80th video game character to join the mascot brawler as a playable fighter.

Byleth will enter the arena on 29th January 2020 in a pack that will also include the Garreg Mach Monastery stage and 11 new music tracks from the Fire Emblem series.

While brawling on the stage, popular characters from Fire Emblem: Three Houses will make a cameo such as Edelgard from the Black Eagles, Claude from the Golden Deer and Dimitri from the Blue Lions.

While this content can be bought individually as Challenger Pack 5 (£5.39 / €5.99), the Fighters Pass bundles the five packs that been released together at a slight discount (£22.49 / €24.99).

There will also be a new Spirit Board that will feature Spirits of most of these cameo guest characters, as well as a new classic mode route called “A Heroic Legacy.” This will highlight classic Fire Emblem stages throughout the series’ history.
