Nintendo UK has announced plans to hold a Fire Emblem Cosplay content at Hyper Japan Festival 2016, inviting fans of the long-running strategy RPG series to take part.
Those that want to participate needn’t solely take inspiration from Fire Emblem Fates, being free to dress up as any of their favourite characters from the series.
Fire Emblem cosplayers will need to attend Hyper Japan on the third day – Sunday 17th July 2016 – and are invited to take part in a commemorative photoshoot as well as an on-stage cosplay parade, where the best costume will be chosen.
The selected winner will receive a special Fire Emblem prize pack, which will include:
- Fire Emblem Fates – Limited Edition
- A New Nintendo 3DS XL Fire Emblem Fates Edition
- A set of Fire Emblem amiibo: Ike, Robin, Lucina, Marth and Roy
- A set of Fire Emblem Fates character standees
Those that would like to take part should send an email with the subject line “Fire Emblem Cosplay” to [email protected], including your contact details and the character you would like to cosplay. Entries close at 12pm BST on Monday 11th July 2016, and terms and conditions can be readhere.
Hyper Japan Festival 2016 takes place between Friday 15th – Sunday 17th July 2016 at the Olympia in London.
