Nintendo has announced Ever Oasis, a brand new IP that will promises a new take on the adventure RPG genre in a world inspired by Egyptian culture and mythology.
The Nintendo 3DS exclusive is in development at Grezzo, who were behind remastering The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D.
You are a chosen Seedling that is tasked with building a prosperous oasis by working with your partner, Isuna. Players will meet and ally with other tribes, as they battle against the Chaos that threatens peace in the desert.
Battles will pan out in real-time combat, switching between your three party members to defeat wildlife as you set out to explore the savage desert. Foraging for materials and puzzle-ridden dungeons will earn you dewadems, which may be used to grow new shops and synthesise equipment or items.
Ever Oasis will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS worldwide in 2017.
