Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon director Shigeru Ohmori appeared on Pokénchi this weekend, on which he revealed Dusk Form Lycanroc.

It is clear that the colours of Dusk Form Lycanroc’s body and eyes are different to those seen in the previously discovered Midday Form and Midnight Form.

The Pokémon Company has added that “you can’t get Dusk Form Lycanroc on your team by ordinary methods, such as discovering the mysterious Pokémon in the wild,” but has not yet specified any more details.

We saw in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon that when Rockruff is bathed in profuse amounts of solar energy it evolves into its Midday Form, and in an abundance of lunar energy it evolves into its Midnight Form.

The news came as Dusk Form Lycanroc will make an appearance in the Pokémon the Series: Sun and Moon episode that airs in Japan on Thursday 10th August.

There has been relative silence about the Nintendo 3DS exclusives since they were announced in a Pokémon Direct the week before E3 2017, beyond which we have only heard about plans to release the Ultra Dual Edition and Fan Edition in Europe as well as the Dual Pack in North America.

CoroCoro Comic did also reveal that the Nintendo 3DS exclusives will receive an Ash Pikachu event distribution, with those that see Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! receiving a QR Code to unlock the hat-toting Pikachu that stars in it.

Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS worldwide on November 17th.
