Dragon Quest X Wii U receives Japanese release date

As promised, Square Enix have shared news regarding the Wii U version of Dragon Quest X.

The game’s beta test will begin on March 6th, with created characters able to be transferred across to the retail version once it launches on March 30th.

Available to purchase either through the Nintendo eShop or as physical retail copies, it will include a 20-day free subscription period.

For those within Japan that have been playing the Wii version, if you register your account through the Wii U you’ll receive an in-game ‘Slime Hat’ item and 20 Lottery Tickers.

Also set to release are a Dragon Quest X Nintendo eShop 3000 yen Pre-Paid Card, and a Wii U Premium Set bundle that will include a copy of the game, Wii U Pro Controller, a 1000 yen Nintendo eShop Pre-Paid Card, and an item code for five ‘Super Energy Spheres.’
