CoroCoro Comic has revealed that Alolan Grimer will appear in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
Grimer first appeared as part of the 151-strong Pokédex in Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue, instantly recognisable by its sludgy and rubbery body that allows it to force itself through any opening.
The Japanese magazine appears to indicate that Grimer will no longer simply be a Poison-type in its Alola form, its time on the tropical islands turning it into a Poison and Dark-type Pokémon.
That’s all that we know for now, but we’ll keep you posted as any more details emerge. What we’re interested to learn more about is Grimer’s change in appearance, which has seen it turn green with a yellow stain around its mouth.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America, Australia and New Zealand on November 18th, and in Europe on November 23rd.
