Nintendo of America has announced the Tetris 99 Maximus Cup, an online event that you can participate in this weekend.
The event will run from 5am PT on Friday 8th March to 11.59pm PT on Sunday 10th March, and in that time you are simply challenged to secure first place to score a Tetris Maximus as many times as you can.
After the event ends, Nintendo will send out a notification to the top 999 players with the most Tetris Maximus wins who will each receive 999 My Nintendo Gold Points – which are worth $9.99 on the Nintendo eShop. You can find more details and the official rules on Nintendo of America’s website.
Tetris 99 is free to download on the Nintendo eShop as a special offer for those that subscribe to the Nintendo Switch Online service.
