After suffering an ominous delay a month before launch, Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware have announced that Dark Souls Remastered and the Solaire of Astora amiibo will release for Nintendo Switch in October.

The twisted world of Lordran awaits in an adventure that has as much tense exploration as it does fearsome foes.

To overcome the trials and tribulations that await, players must wield diverse weaponry and powerful magic – customising their character to suit their play style, whether that be a heavily armoured merciless warrior or a frail but mighty sorcerer.

And, as a reminder, the Solaire of Astora amiibo will let you unlock the Praise the Sun gesture straight away, while the Dark Souls Remastered online network test is still planned to happen before release.

Dark Souls Remastered and the Solaire of Astora amiibo will release worldwide on October 19th.
