Nintendo of Europe has announced that it will release a Bayonetta Special Edition in the region, coinciding with the news that the Umbra Witch’s first two action-packed adventures are coming to Nintendo Switch.
The critically acclaimed Bayonetta 2, which was originally released as a Wii U exclusive, and the original Bayonetta, which were developed by PlatinumGames, will be made available in a regular edition that includes a physical copy of Bayonetta 2 with a download code for Bayonetta, and in a Bayonetta Special Edition. And, as always, each game can be purchased digitally on the Nintendo eShop with a discount available for buying both games.
The Bayonetta Special Edition will include a physical copy of Bayonetta 2, a download code for the original Bayonetta, a SteelBook case, 22 Verse Cards, and 3 Sticker Sheets.
Nintendo also chose to reveal at The Game Awards 2017 that PlatinumGames is currently hard at work on Bayonetta 3, which will see release as a Nintendo Switch exclusive.
Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America on February 16th, and in Japan on February 17th.
