The limited-time Bunny Day seasonal event has now started in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This celebration runs from the 1st April to 12th April every year, and, after meeting Zipper T. Bunny, you will have the chance to go on an “egg-citing” Egg Hunt.
There are six different types of Egg for you to collect. The Earth Egg is dug up from the ground just like a Fossil, the Leaf Egg is shaken down from a tree in a similar way to Fruit, and you will need to use your Slingshot to shoot down the balloons that may carry a Sky Egg.
Whereas you will have to bash a rock with your Axe or Shovel to see if you are rewarded with a Stone Egg, while you can reel in a Water Egg when you attempt to catch a fish using your Fishing Rod, and you will need to carve at a tree with your Axe to potentially recover a Wood Egg.
You will need these Eggs for the Bunny Day DIY Recipes that you will start to unlock. These can either be found in the Presents that are carried by the balloons that you burst, as a reward from your animal villagers or once you collect enough Eggs that your villager is struck with inspiration for crafting ideas.
We have started to compile a list of the Bunny Day DIY recipes and their required crafting materials that we have unlocked so far. But, as the event has just started, it is not exhaustive nor complete just yet.
