The Pokémon Symphonic Evolutions concert tour came to Los Angeles last night, and, coinciding with E3 2016, saw the audience welcome a special guest in Junichi Masuda.

The Game Freak director and composer mentioned the Pokémon Sun And Moon announcements that were made on Nintendo Treehouse: Live at E3 2016, before, somewhat topically, sharing his involvement in composing music for the Nintendo 3DS exclusives.

“I don’t know if everyone saw it, but we did make some announcements for Pokémon Sun and Moon this morning,” Masuda began. “So, if you’ve watched the stream we did this morning I think you may have heard some of the music.

For example, the wild Pokémon encounters and Trainer encounters, I actually did the music for those. And, we haven’t revealed it yet, but I have also done the music for the encounters when you go up against the Legendary Pokémon, Solgaleo and Lunala. I hope you all look forward to experiencing the music in the game!”

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America, Australia and New Zealand on November 18th, and in Europe on November 23rd.
