It has been days since Amazon France leaked news that the Wolf Link amiibo would unlock a new dungeon in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD.

Said to be called “La Cave du Crépuscule,” or The Cave of Twilight, Japan’s Weekly Famitsu magazine has shared more information surrounding the Wii U exclusive’s amiibo functionality.

Once per day, players can scan either the Link or Toon Link amiibo to replenish arrows, the Zelda or Sheikh amiibo to restore hearts, and the Ganondorf amiibo to deal double damage to enemies.

The magazine refers to the new dungeon as the “Trial of the Beast,” besting its depths seeing players unlock bonuses that will help them in Link’s main quest. If cleared when the player has obtained the Giant Wallet, for example, they will be rewarded with a Bottomless Wallet that can hold up to 9,999 Rupees.

As shared before, certain data can be stored on the Wolf Link amiibo to be carried across to The Legend of Zelda Wii U later in the year. Famitsu seems to suggest that this data relates to journeys that the player completes, but we will need to wait until scans of the magazine appear before we can learn more. That is, unless Nintendo beat them to it.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will release exclusively for Wii U in Europe and North America on March 4th, and in Japan on March 10th.
