Outed by a preemptive PEGI rating, Nintendo has today announced that Minecraft Wii U Edition will launch worldwide next week.
Mojang’s phenomenon will come with multiple add-on content packs, with the Swedish developer collaborating on “new content for Nintendo fans” that will release at a later date.
Minecraft Wii U Edition will support Off-TV Play on the Wii U GamePad, with the included add-on content packs confirmed as follows:
- Battle & Beasts Skin Pack
- Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack
- City Texture Pack
- Fantasy Texture Pack
- Festive Mash-up Pack
- Natural Texture Pack
Alongside those, players can choose to expand their experience by purchasing 16 additional add-on packs from the Nintendo eShop. Those are:
- Candy Texture Pack
- Cartoon Texture Pack
- Doctor Who Skins Volume 1
- Doctor Who Skins Volume 2
- Festive Skin Pack
- Greek Mythology Mash-up Pack
- Halloween 2015 Mash-up Pack
