Nintendo of America has announced plans to launch a Gold Mega Man amiibo, which will be available across North America exclusively in the Mega Man Legacy Collection Collector’s Edition.
With Capcom’s Blue Bomber having long shared a history with Nintendo since the days of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Mega Man Legacy Collection presents a faithful and robust package that includes the first six Mega Man games that were released on the console.
The game’s Challenge Mode will remix stages to heighten difficulty, while a Museum Mode will let you take a look at original production art. Alongside this, either the standard Mega Man amiibo or Gold Mega Man amiibo can be used to unlock exclusive bonus challenges.
Mega Man Legacy Collection will release on Nintendo 3DS across Europe and North America on February 23rd.
