This week’s Nintendo Direct closed with news that a Super Smash Bros.: Special Broadcast will be streamed next month.
Nintendo note that this will be “the last one for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS,” which means that we will learn of the final characters being added to the mascot brawler as part of the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot.
Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud Strife was revealed as the next character, with alternate costumes based on his appearance in both the beloved classic RPG and animated movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Wielding the Buster Sword, his Final Smash was revealed as the Omnislash.
