The world of Pokémon will collide with the addictive Picross puzzle series in early December, with Nintendo sharing plans to launch the free-to-start Pokémon Picross.

Fans will be able to download the Nintendo 3DS game from the Nintendo eShop at no cost, and it will come packed with more than 300 stages as well as an advanced mode. Players are required to fill grids to discover the hidden Pokémon portrait within, completion of which will see them join you. They can then be called upon to help you solve other puzzles, earning Picrites that are seemingly required to unlock stages as you progress.

Pokémon Picross will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in early December.
