Yacht Club Games has asked you to don your mask and prepare your potions, as Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows will see release next week.
Promising to add an all-new alchemical adventure and Challenge Mode, players will be required to have cleared the original release as Shovel Knight before they tackle the new content. However, those that have lost their save progress or switched systems can use a special code to unlock Plague Knight straight away.
Plague Knight’s tale will see him look to concoct the ultimate potion Serum Supernus by extracting the ingredients from his former allies. Such adventure will see him use explosives, bomb jumps and alchemy to traverse the kingdom, gathering loot on the way to use alchemy in crafting equipment and power-ups to aid you.
Shovel Knight: Plague of Shadows will become available as a free update worldwide for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on September 17th.
