Capcom has announced at Tokyo Game Show 2015 that Monster Hunter Stories will be supported by an anime adaptation, which will air on Fuji TV in Japan.

Such news was accompanied by new promotional and story introduction videos for the Nintendo 3DS exclusive, in which the publisher discusses the world of monster riders. The game’s protagonist possesses a ‘Kizuna Ishi’ (Connection Stone), which allows the young boy to awaken the power of monsters and develop a deep bond with them.

Your adventure will begin in a monster rider village, but the boy soon decides to join a hunter society where he experiences adventurers that view monsters far differently to him.

Monster Hunter Stories will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in 2016.
