With Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer having seen release in Japan this past week, it has been revealed that the Villager amiibo is compatible with the Nintendo 3DS exclusive.
Once scanned, players will be rewarded with a gold Villager statue modelled in the same pose, that may then be used to help decorate any animal’s home.
Happy Home Designer is still primarily supported by Nintendo’s new Animal Crossing amiibo cards, which have already suffered from stock shortages in Japan after reported production issues.
Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on July 30th, in North America on September 25th, and in Europe on October 2nd.
