Nintendo have announced Super Mario Bros. 30th Anniversary Live, concerts that will see the Super Mario Special Band take to the stage to blast the audience through arrangements of the most memorable music from their iconic series.

These will take place in Osaka (Sunday 20th September) and Tokyo (Monday 21st September) at the Osaka International Convention Center and Tokyo International Forum respectively, and will see those that have worked on the series throughout its 30 year history make an appearance.

That means that attendees can presumably expect to see Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka appear to share their memories in crafting the portly plumber’s adventures over the years.

‘S’ rate tickets are priced at 8,640 yen for adults and 4,320 yen for children, with ‘A’ rate tickets priced at 7,560 yen for adults and 3,780 yen for children.
