Masahiro Sakurai today revealed that the Dreamland stage from Nintendo 64’s Super Smash Bros. has made a return in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & Nintendo 3DS.
Sakurai explained that they had “intentionally replicated the original style,” although did choose to “renew certain parts.”
Nintendo will also add Hyrule Castle and Peach’s Castle from the Nintendo 64 version, although it wasn’t specified precisely when.
The Dreamland stage is now available and can be purchased in either Super Smash Bros. for Wii U or Nintendo 3DS for £1.79 (€1.99 / $1.99), or in both game versions together for £2.69 (€2.99 / $2.99).
