Oops! Firstly, spoiler warning for those wanting to save the surprise for tomorrow’s Super Smash Bros. special presentation!

After sound files were uncovered suggesting they were to be added to the roster in mid-April, it now looks likely that Street Fighter’s Ryu and Fire Emblem’s Roy are to join the fray in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.

Now believed to be part of Masahiro Sakurai’s Super Smash Bros. special presentation tomorrow, the game’s latest update has gone live in Japan which has seen players digging around for clues.

However, I’m sure they didn’t expect to find Classic Mode victory sequences for the two rumoured additions. But, not only that, with other discovered content revealing a new Inkling Girl trophy, with Ryu’s Street Fighter II stage and Dreamland 64 to be added for you to battle across.

We’ll learn more tomorrow, but this is all far too concrete to be seen as a rumour.

  1. This can’t be real, can it? I mean, we don’t need another Fire Emblem swordsman and Ryu is part of a fighting game franchise already.
