The Pokémon Company International have taken to the red carpet at Cannes this week, revealing that they will release Pokémon the Movie: Hoopa and the Clash of Ages in the west later this year.
This latest animated adventure will take Ash, Pikachu and pals to a desert city by the sea where they will meet Hoopa, the Mythical Pokémon able to summon people and Pokémon by using magic rings. After what is described as a strange and scary incident, they learn that a brave hero once stopped the rampage of a terrifying Pokémon that is in danger of breaking loose again – it’ll be down to Ash to help Hoopa overcome the darkness within.
