Adventure, romance and regal powers await, with XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe today revealing that Rune Factory 4 will at long last arrive in Europe and Australia next week.
Having repeatedly sold out at retail in North America, the Nintendo 3DS exclusive will arrive elsewhere as a digital-only release through the Nintendo eShop.
The action-JRPG’s whimsical fantasy setting will see players wander the Kingdom of Norad as either a Prince or Princess, and tasked with leading Selphia to peace and prosperity. You’ll take charge of the quaint town through the game’s “Order” mechanic, allowing you to hold festivals and enact sweeping changes that will make it the talk of the kingdom.
Created under the guidance of series producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto, fans will already be assured as what is widely seen as the most ambitious iteration yet. Whether for the narrative or countless hours of farming, courting and fighting your way through dungeons, the play style mixture will surely promise to attract both a new and existing audience.
Rune Factory 4 will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in Europe and Australia on 11th December 2014, priced at £24.99 (€29.99/$49.95 AUD).
