Xbox’s Phil Spencer nominates Reggie Fils-Aime for ALS #IceBucketChallenge

You may have increasingly seen celebrities challenging one another to be showered in ice cold water over the past few weeks, and while hilarious to watch their reactions it is serving a far greater purpose.

It’s all part of a social media campaign run by The ALS Association, looking to raise awareness about Lou Gehrig’s Disease. It’s stirred a phenomenon, with everyone looking to take on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Now, Nintendo of America’s Reggie Fils-Aime has been nominated to get involved.

Xbox’s Phil Spencer had been challenged by Markus “Notch” Persson, and, by successfully responding in 24 hours as you’ll see below, has chosen Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida, Valve’s Gabe Newell, and Reggie to participate. We know that only one body out of those three is truly ready, so hopefully we’ll see a response soon enough.
