Super Smash Bros. for Wii U & 3DS playable at Hyper Japan 2014

Nintendo have outlined what games they will be showcasing at Hyper Japan 2014, seeing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Super Smash Bros. for 3DS playable by the UK public for the first time.

Taking place at London’s Earls Court between 25th – 27th July 2014, the Nintendo stand will be split into four key areas encompassing Wii U, Nintendo 3DS & 2DS, Tomodachi Life and the Nintendo UK Online Store which will have merchandise on sale.

Those attending the event will also be able to take an exclusive sneak peak at the company’s interactive amiibo figures, play other pre-release games, and compete in Mario Kart 8 – not to mention the usual StreetPass opportunity.

“We have a packed line up of games coming out this year and Hyper Japan gives us the perfect opportunity to share the fun with our fans ahead of launch,” Nintendo UK’s marketing and PR director Shelly Pearce commented.

“Early reactions to Super Smash Bros. on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS have been great and we’re pleased to be able to bring these titles to the UK public for the first time as part of Hyper Japan.”

Alex's early adoration for Nintendo began with a Yellow Game Boy and a copy of Donkey Kong Land. This developed over the years, later peaking when he hid in his room to play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time one Christmas. Nowadays, his enthusiasm is shared through Nintendo Insider, a place in which he can document his thoughts regarding the big N.
