As with Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate last year, Nintendo and Capcom have entered a distribution agreement for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’s release across Europe in early 2015.

This will see Nintendo become responsible for sales, marketing, PR and distribution throughout Europe and Australia for the game, which is seeing release across 3DS and 2DS, while Capcom will remain as publisher.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will see players assume the role of a hunter that joins a travelling caravan to explore new lands and towns along the way, and is notably the first handheld iteration to allow up to three players to join you online through Nintendo Network.

The western arrival of the previous instalment proved to be a monstrous hit, with Nintendo UK having initially struggled to keep stock supplies plentiful across retailers – although they were soon replenished.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will launch across Europe exclusively for 3DS in early 2015.
