Xenoblade Chronicles X delayed into 2015

Xenoblade Chronicles X has been revealed as the finalised title for Monolith Soft’s next massive sci-fi role-playing game, destined to be a Wii U exclusive.

Although the ambitious project from the creators of Baten Kaitos and Xenoblade Chronicles has been delayed into 2015, pushing it beyond the game’s previously scheduled 2014 release window.

An intergalactic war has left a handful of survivors from Earth attempting to live peacefully in a beautiful yet hostile world. Players will battle powerful creatures using an expansive battle system that builds upon that seen within Wii’s Xenoblade Chronicles, with rideable weaponised mechs easing your exploration of the world around you.

Players can customise their main character’s appearance, while their party will improve in different classes through defeating enemies, learning combat and defensive skills called Arts.

Xenoblade Chronicles X will release exclusively for Wii U in 2015.
