Game Boy Advance titles join Wii U Virtual Console in April

Nintendo have confirmed that, at long last, Game Boy Advance titles will soon make their way to Wii U’s Virtual Console service.

Scheduled for April, the company were only willing to pledge that Metroid Fusion, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, and Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3 would become available initially in Europe and North America, although indicated that more titles would be released over time.

In comparison they were more specific with their plans for Japan, with April 3rd seeing the release of Advance Wars, Advance Wars 2, F-Zero, Golden Sun, Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World, and Wario Ware, Inc. Mega Microgame$.

Meanwhile, April 30th will deliver Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Mario Tennis Advance, Metroid Fusion, Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Wario Land Advance.

  1. I did not buy a Wii U to see the Virtual Console full of GBA games, these should be on the Nintendo 3DS! The Wii U needs more SNES, NES, GameCube and Nintendo 64 games!
