New Sonic game set for Wii U, Xbox One and PS4 in 2015

It would appear that SEGA have a new Sonic game currently in development, speeding toward a 2015 release across Wii U, Xbox One and PS4.

The project’s existence was revealed by toy manufacturer Jazwares at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair 2014 held last week, the company having chosen to showcase their Sonic product range.

As part of Nintendo’s worldwide partnership with SEGA there were reportedly three platform exclusives arranged, of which we’ve so far seen Sonic Lost World and Mario & Sonic at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games.

The third is expected to be announced for release later this year, meaning that development for this similarly unknown multi-platform project must be currently running alongside it.

We’ll keep you posted as and when we learn any more!
