Nintendo TVii news for Europe promised “in the near future”

Previously pledged to become available in 2013, Nintendo TVii continues to remain mysteriously absent to European Wii U owners.

The service, currently being enjoyed in North America and Japan, allows users to interact with TV shows and films, accessed through whichever sources you subscribe to across cable, satellite and video-on-demand services. Understandably, with so many separate countries falling under Nintendo of Europe’s banner it appears to be taking longer to arrange than anticipated.

“We would like to apologise that we were unable to bring the Nintendo TVii service to Europe in 2013 as originally planned,” Nintendo have now updated on their official website, replacing the previous message.

“Please continue to keep an eye out for further announcements regarding this service in the near future.”
