Wii U sales climb by 340 percent in North America

Even in the wake of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One arriving, Nintendo of America have shared that Wii U sales grew throughout November by more than 340 percent compared to those achieved in October.

It’s positive spin, naturally, but shows that the Wii U bundles introduced over the past few months are slowly starting to generate the sales momentum that the console has so far lacked.

That they haven’t shared precisely how many hardware units were shifted is still cause for concern, but there’s plenty next year to continue to drive their sales, with Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Bayonetta 2, Super Smash Bros., and X, among others.
