Nintendo has kickstarted the company’s efforts to promote their products across Japan in the lead up to Christmas, seeing the Wii U squarely placed as the early focus.
Their “Atsumareba” advertising campaign emulates one that Nintendo similarly ran for the Wii, in which they highlighted games that can bring together friends and family throughout the holiday season.
Following that trend, Nintendo are pushing Wii Sports Club, Super Mario 3D World and Wii Party U as such games, the advert seemingly taking direction from the early “Wii would like to play” campaign that struck a chord with consumers those many years ago.
