As promised as part of the continual splurge in Pokémon X & Y news, Nintendo have today shared a new evolved Pokémon.

Meet Doublade, the evolved form of the previously revealed Honedge. The Steel and Ghost-type Pokémon is apparently capable of carrying out intricate attacks through “telepathically coordinating its two blades to deliver twice the slice in battle.” Painful.

It has access to the No Guard ability, which allows all moves used by or against a Pokémon with the ability won’t miss – even those such as Fly, Dig, and Sky Drop.

Pokémon X & Y will release worldwide for Nintendo 3DS on October 12th.
