Alongside revealing Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Garchomp, monthly Japanese magazine CoroCoro has also revealed further details regarding Fairy-type Pokémon.

A chart printed within the publication reveals that the Pokémon-type, which is a new addition within Pokémon X and Y, will be super effective against Dark, Dragon and Fighting-type Pokémon. It won’t be effective on Fire, Poison or Steel-type Pokémon, and will be weak to Poison and Steel-type attacks from opposing Pokémon.

Meanwhile, Fairy-type Pokémon are immune to Dragon-type attacks, and have a resistance against Bug, Dark and Fighting-type moves.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will launch for Nintendo 3DS worldwide on October 12th.

  1. Whoa. Now the Fairy-type pokemon are the new powerful type. Dragon attacks won’t work at all against it. And the only weaknesses are Steel-type and Poison-types.

  2. In pokemon sun, im having trouble getting past a certain trainer near the end they keep sending out clefable first and when I do damage they use moonlight and heal /:

    1. Lusamine right? Yeah I had trouble too I just kept reviving and healing my pokemon until she ran out of moon lights. She only has ten uses of it. If it’s still hard try teaching one of your pokemon a steel or poison move
